I don’t usually write a negative review, but I unfortunately did not have a great experience repairing my vehicle. First, I believe the service was overly expensive. I understand that cars are never cheap to fix, but I wasn’t expecting it to be anywhere near what I was quoted, and with the way I was offered pretty nice discounts if I consented you more repairs, I believe some services could be charged at a more competitive price. Second, and perhaps most frustrating, was that my vehicle was not done at the time I was told it would be done. I had spoken to a representative twice on Tuesday to confirm that my vehicle would be ready for pickup by the end of the work day Tuesday. After the second conversation, I was assured it would be done by the time I got there at 5pm. When I arrived at 5pm, I was informed that my vehicle wouldn’t be ready until the next day at 11am because a mechanic had stepped out for the day to complete a test of some kind. Unfortunately, this change wasn’t communicated to me, and when I arrived to pick it up, I got an apology that didn’t feel sincere, and I wasn’t offered a rental car or any other form of reconciliation for the inconvenience. I understand that things happen, and sometimes things slip through the cracks, but I was on someone else’s time/gas money, and I had to scramble to find transport to and from work the next day. When I finally came to pick up my vehicle, my card was rejected because I’d exceeded my daily limit, and the representative taking my payment just gave it back and said “nope, didn’t go through,” and I don’t think I imagined that there was some intended attitude in the way he said it. I’ll be honest, I don’t think I’ll return. I still have some repairs to complete, and I think I’ll be looking for somewhere with more competitive pricing, that will get the work done on time (or at least communicate any changes and offer temporary solutions), and that will show a bit more patience and kindness to customers who are already there to pay heaps of money for services.
